FRUITS IN
THE DESERT – MIRACLES IN THE HEART
(For Lent,
especially Ash Wednesday on February 14, 2018)
Even though
the World seems to be in so much gloom, encircling ominously all around, I feel
that I am getting someplace!
In spite of
an older age, I have found a certain wellbeing in my life and I would like to
share this.
It was a
long road of psychological analysis, perspective introspection, prayer, letting
go of toxic relationships, finding good ones, adjusting to a more favorable
environment and discovering the support around me.
It has been
more than 40 years since I got married to an Argentine man. Could it be that we are enjoying the Promised
Land in old age before it leads to the end of our story? Sometimes trials and tribulations make the
Spirit grow and give us another kind of strength only possible by overcoming
obstacles and through consistent training to help us to a higher consciousness.
What hope
and light does this project out into a suffering World?
The
evidence is held within the songs, music, and positive works for others that
have developed. Faith produces good
works. It is no longer a question of faith or works, but that they are
superimposed. In producing concrete
products, the natural outcome is to be willing to share and to serve rather
than be served. From the confidence
acquired, a humble positive pride and good feeling develops. The joy in serving is installed. This is the true reward that causes miracles
to occur. The satisfaction in producing
fruits enables us also to distribute them!
The
satisfaction in doing for others is so rewarding that self-realization becomes
one with the ¨drink and food, nutrients¨ given to all. One begins to understand the contradiction
that the ¨greatest¨ is the least.
It still is
not clear just where we are getting to.
It is more like a feeling; yet its presence is felt deeply. It feels like miracles are beginning to
happen; that miracles are advancing! A
time for Miracles! ¨A time for peace, I
swear it´s not too late¨!
Sometimes
you have to go a long way, maybe beyond the limits of mental illness or
selfishness or personal desires, to find your own innermost being. Like a labyrinth of the mind. It is so much easier once we find a direct
pathway to the heart! But it took many
journeys in order to find the best way. Coming to terms with old hates, hurts and
harms is a personal choice and no one can do it for you after all. Once you let go of all that you can feel the
better possibilities coming. Something
like what happens when a converted man fixes things in the house. It may not be flowers or chocolates but is
much more difficult to obtain, and is surely more what you really need! Of course, since Ash Wednesday is on
Valentine´s day this year, it all makes sense and is totally acceptable!
Love in our
hearts is the first and most important miracle!
