RESOLUTION

THE
PROMISES OF CHRISTMAS!

After
expecting a promised Christmas conversion of mankind most of my life, I found a
major breakthrough today!
It wasn´t
me! Of course I had nothing to do with
it! It was my daughter. She had been supporting her feelings and
pressures lately and had been letting off a little steam, but today,
symbolically during Christmas time, she blew up and made an exceptional speech. She had a very firm and serious talk with her
father, and let him know things had to change!
As the daughter, she has an important position and she told him she
could not tolerate his aggressive attitudes anymore, specifically towards her
mother (me). You will have to imagine
the details of this and the steps that lead up to this (He has had many
pressures and problems lately, family illnesses and such), but what is
necessary to know is that there is a major pivoting point gyrating towards better
treatment and reconciliations within the whirlwinds of disasters. I could have prayed, fussed and complained,
done anything all to little avail, yet it only took a few magic words from the
indicated person to turn things around!
My
resolution for 2019 is to facilitate the process, to recognize my own
debilities, errors and emissions (which I also have), and while I don´t allow
mistreatment, I need to help contribute to solutions, not make more problems or
aggressions. And to keep believing
that through love, comprehensions and diplomacy we can make it happen! And at
the same time ¨Let it be¨! ¨IT¨!!! ¨THE GREATEST LOVE¨!!!
The little
girls, the small children are the best experts!
Older people get set in their ways, while youth and the young at heart
hold much promise. We must hear their
laughter! We must extract laughter from
them! We must listen to them!
Despite all
of our faults and also because of our good points, we brought our daughter up
with love, much love. Now she is an
adult with a great capacity to help reconcile difficult matters for all of us
in our circle of family and friends.
What a Blessing!
The big
question these days for many and I believe the root of society´s problems is
¨What do women expect from men¨?
Considering
this, it seems reasonable to expect that a good, respectful, loving treatment
should be made by all-each unto another.
Just as a person treats well another, so they should be treated well.
Actually,
we have been praying and working towards a better way of life for a long, long
time (at least I have turned my head inside out over this matter! Happily, now I want to announce a major
breakthrough and opening of a door of Faith!
May 2019 be
a year of Blessings! 2020 a year of
preparation for a celebration and 2021 (as you know) is the year to celebrate
100 years of the creation of the LEGION OF MARY!!! You should know that I am busy preparing
songs to sing to celebrate in spite of all the problems that must be faced and
cannot be ignored!
