Find comfort in the rain and thunder.

For I am speaking to you,

In the silence of your mind,

Where all music has been hushed;

And out of your silence, much love begins to flow.

You begin to know the deepest secrets

That you can ever know.

It  will be nearly impossible

For you to express this profoundness…

The joy you experience is perhaps too much

For such a promiscuous and violent World.

Still, you listen attentively to silence and

              The rath of the rain.

THE FRONT LINES

Perhaps one of President Abraham´s biggest concerns at the time of the Civil War was the reflection considering how each side in his divided country believed they were right and also believed in God and prayer.

So I think, ¨How can we know what God´s Will is.  What is the right action to take¨?

One thing we know is that God is ¨A God of Love, Merciful and generous.  Easy to forgive and slow to anger¨.  However, God has a Will and this must be ultimately fulfilled.

The word ¨Catholic¨ means ¨universal¨, therefore it is inclusive.  All are one in a single body.  Christ is the head of the Catholic Church.  The Pope represents Christ on Earth.  I am the Pope´s Poetess.  Listen to us!  We have important things to report and transmit to you.  Listen to Spiritual Leaders from all over the World.  They also have important things to report.  This is a necessary time to listen deeply and a time for reflection.

I believe in Love.

I believe that good intentions eventually manifest into reality even in weakness and despite shortcomings,

and more importantly that positive actions lead to blessings.

A contrite and pure heart is foremost.  ¨Much shall be forgiven to those who love much¨.   

Those who listen and do the Will of God shall be lead to fulfilled promises. 

It is obvious that those in the Front Lines must be carefully heard, along with experts and the most knowledgeable.

Who is right?  What should be done, or perhaps not be done?  It will be dearly necessary to follow God´s guidelines in delicate matters.

REQUIRED READING!

Last September 14, 2019, Padre Sergio asked all of us who were at the 85^th anniversary celebration in our Church of Santisima Cruz in Argentina, to contemplate one of the Stations of the Cross, and he gave each of us a beaded prayer piece to pray the Via Cruz (Way of the Cross).

On mine it said to contemplate ¨The Pity¨ (La Piedad) when Mother Mary receives the dead body of Jesus.  A lot has happened since September!  Here are some of my notes on the subject and a poem.

This phrase allegedly comes from a mid-sixteenth century statement by John Bradford, an Evangelical Preacher and Protester of injustice, ¨There but for the grace of God, goes John Bradford¨, in reference to a group of prisoners he saw being led to execution.

A Gift offered through mercy and love.

Enabling power and spiritual healing.

Persecuted, unjustly persecuted.¨

¨When there is no wheat, give them barley bread¨.

Coarsely handled reformation in which the patience of the common people gave way to rage and resentment.

Peace and good order.

Sedition.

…Not in the same situation as others and feel sympathy for them.

The steadfastness of JOB.

Mercy triumphs over judgment.  Romans 9:23.  Prepared beforehand.  Steadfast love.

BOND

Show forth the Glory in a manifestation through a waiting period. ¨Wait upon the Lord¨.  To wait upon the Lord does not mean to quit doing actions, but rather to do them considering God´s Will, and expecting his everpresent direction and power in due time.

Psalms 136, 85, 25  All to show the Glory of God manifesting at its anointed time.

(¨You don´t miss something until it is taken away¨.  ¨Allocate according to need¨.  Andrew Cuomo said later in April.)

On April 13, while thinking about grace and pity, I began looking for information in google.  Music always helps.  Just as I clicked off looking for ¨Saving Grace¨ I turned CNN on and at that very moment they were talking about the same song and playing it.  It showed Barack Obama singing it in public in a religious ceremony in You Tube.  I feel that this is a sign and it means a lot to me personally.  Obama finished up by saying, ¨God Bless America¨.  I sincerely and hopefully consider that America be worthy of God´s Blessing.  Remember I am here praying for you all and believe the World is one.

THE LAMB LAYS WITH THE LION

It´s been a long time coming;

A change is needed.

It is happening unexpectedly.

Many prisoners have been freed.

The hearts and lungs of so many innocent bleed.

Nature´s message is now so very clear;

And yet humanity does not hear!

My heart and soul shudder and sigh;

For the lowly, grace mercifully so gloriously must thrive.

We must go now to where even Angels fear to tread;

To the depths of our inner world we shall be lead.

So many will need to repent;

So few shall admit a need to relent.

Many will be freed of great anguish and of pain.

Many blameless lost and forgotten, lain…

Death gives birth to Pity.

Steadfast love shall always have the victory,

And righteousness and peace shall kiss each other!

…It has been a long time coming!

A steady companion!

Harvest Moon

Just me and the moon,
A full moon;
They call her a yellow moon.
She rises early during the fall,
An optical ilusión
of increased size or proximity,
Providing máximum light after sunset,
While shinning out a favorite color.
Like a special Host
rising early in delicate times;
We are alone in the early hours,
Just me and the moon,
With our many prayers for a better World.

How to be In Tune!

It occurs to me (as we continue with the Covid 19 virus shutdown, which was only beginning when I started to write this) how good it could be to celebrate communion in the weekly Legion of Mary meetings.  This would make a more intimate and productive experience possible meeting with the requirements of weekly masses and also take a burden off of many at this delicate time.  At the same time it makes a harmonious and personalized time which will certainly build the structure of love and mercy in a most exceptional way in small groups.  I believe that by concentrating on smaller groups, the larger congregation will take care of itself!

Another thought I have and would like to share is about Willow trees.  When I was a child there was a beautiful Willow tree in our yard.  The leaves bent down gracefully and it occurred to me that they weeped.  ¨Perhaps they weep out all of the pains of creation¨, I often thought.  Also, the branches formed a cave-like cubicle which we used to go inside of like a place of refuge and safety.  My soul now weeps, as it did as a child, weeps and weeps and this could be what is the most refuge for me now in these trying, particular times.

Perhaps at a time when the whole world appears to be so contaminated, the best thing to do is to find refuge in spirituality.  I feel favored and at an advantage (after a long dedicated life in the working world) to have a refuge where I can offer a part of it, the two cabins, to visitors.

Often the visitors have customs or traits which are different from mine.  Since the visitors are here for short periods of time it seems possible to be more able to deal with the situations.  I believe that by bringing them into my harmonious environment it will help develop a better modality for all and strengthen all of us.  Too much contact could cause conflict since we have different styles of conduct.

At any rate, I feel I need this distance at this time in my life and that a certain amount of contact with others who think differently is also good.  Instead of going out into the World to make it better, I have been facilitated with a manner in which it is possible to bring a little of the World into my spirituality and help it see and experience the peace and wellbeing that is within the best of me.

Similarly, by making Masses in the Legion groups a more specialized attention could be given to the roots of our organization.  This could nurture and fortalize smaller groups already formed and structured, at this time of virus when social distancing is so necessary.

Retreat!  What does this signify?  Withdraw, retire, give ground, pull back.  It is a haven, refuge, resort, asylum, sanctuary, hideaway, hideout, shelter, cabin, den, lair, nest, hidey-hole.  We like to joke that we have a ¨resort¨!  It may be a small one, but we cherish it.

Self-fulfilling Prophesy!  A self-fullfilling prophecy is a prediction that causes itself to be true due to the behavior (including the act of predicting it) of the believer.  Self-fulling here, means ¨brought about as a result of being foretold or talked about¨ while prophecy refers to the prediction.  Unconsciously one makes actions that cause the prediction to happen.  Expectation leads to a result, which becomes real or true by virtue of having been predicted or expected.  There are individual self-fulfilliing prophesy and also collective, social ones!

Humanity has been developing a positive self-fulfilling prophesy throughout history that will one day manifest in its entirety.  This is why prayer is so important.  Prayer is a powerful force to stimulate a positive self-fulfilling action and prophecy.  It is almost impossible to do nothing so we are always taking some kind of action beyond prayer time also.  Prayer, however, stimulates positive action and facilitates greater actions for the future that are not seen presently.  Do not ever underestimate the utility of prayer.  It also comforts us in times we feel situations overwhelm us, until we are able to find and open up to resolutions. 

So, when we pray (and I include meditation, mindfulness, yoga, ceremonies, basically, poetry, music writings, everything that elevates the thinking process and the mind), it seems we are doing nothing.  Actually it is mobilizing a power within us and a consciousness that goes beyond our normal abilities and releases a higher cosmic energy elevating out thoughts.  It turns us into ¨dancers¨ (see Friedrich Nietzche, ¨Thus Spoke Zarathrustra¨).  When we pray as a group this is magnified.  Do not underestimate this.  It has been proven throughout history and I attest to this positive force and energy in my own life!  I find that for me nothing elevates better than prayer, but all of the forms are good!

¨Are we human, or are we dancers¨?

Prayer lifts us up to become dancers with our steps in a higher humanity, bringing out the best and putting us in tune with the vibrations of the stars, the revolutions of the Earth, with fellow beings, with the universe!

Perhaps we do not see the results immediately.  It is necessary to give it time.  The universe has its own pattern of action.  We must do what we can in the meantime to better situations.

¨So I´m on my way, looking for the answer, are we humans, or are we dancers¨?

It could be that rather than be asking and making petitions, we need to be listening more, be in tune, and simply live in mercy and love!  And learn to dance like the leaves of the Willow tree!
