BRANCHES!
17 OF MARCH, 2009 (ST. PATRICK'S DAY)
I’m askin' you to
love me, like he loved her...
In your own manner, the way to you it does occur.
With a pure,
transparent vision,
In this daily life, living fully our mission.
With palms in our hands,
As we walk in procession over hills or sands...
On our lips the word
"glory",
Measured words to tell our story...
It’s my heart, deep within, that told me, ”somethin's
missing”,
In the ultimate what cures all is Spirit and blessing.
What greater than this glory and mystery,
To love, singing out mercy and grace,
As the theme and inspiration to our history?
I’m pleading for eternal love,
As I wash and kiss with tears many feet,
And the hurt and
needing, time after time, greet...
For your presence and
willingness do I ask,
In the making of the World’s greatest task...
Come along; listen once again to the plan...
The plea to love little me, all of man...
Some profound need, deep within, to reach out to the soul...
To reach the weak, humble needing sinner, the biggest goal.
Relieving, suffering,
death or pain,
Assuming compassion, love and forgiveness, again and again.
I’m hoping we can love like he did them,
That each branch grows like one more stem!
