THE SOUL´S ARQUITECT

Seems like nothing shocks us anymore!

What about the little animals,

Burned in fires,

Lost in heat and smoke?

Their habitats ruined.

Their tiny hearts and lives broke.

 

Blasts of explosives, fires ravaging without control.

Heat increasing in temperatures never seen before.

Nowhere left to hide or go!

Firenados and disaster accumulate even more.

 

My heart beats serenely and composed

Believing in an inevitable regeneration.

What will it take?  Ask the younger generation!

The animal world, nature, and all of creation expectant to see…

Humanity meek, more kind, at its knees.

 

Compassion feeling, supplications…

The soul squeezed and stirred…

Desiring to conjure up some magic, verses or lyrics

That give hope and redemption to a weary, so deaf, materialistic sphere.

To instill introspection, responsibility

Perhaps an element somewhat extrasensory

Into a collective energy!
