You seem to be asking for
some words of comfort.
What can I say to you?
I can tell you how I went on a
Long, long journey, far from
My birth place, many many
Years ago
Almost the farthest
It was possible
To go!
But the most treacherous journey
Was the inner soulsearching
That I realized along the way.
I went past insanity, jealousy,
Hate, rancour, and all sorts
Of evil spirits,
To come to a state of mind
At peace and reconciled.
It is not so much the
Physical environment
As the healthy wellbeing
That allows me to say,
"There is a renewed hope
That is possible".
I believe all of humanity
Will achieve this wellbeing.
Well, I am going
To drink Mate now
Here in Argentina
Far away from my birth country,
The United States.
It is here where I was able
To meet you
And that makes me very happy,
More happy than you
Can imagine!
I love many people I left behind
And I don't know if
I will see them again.
Thanks to technology
I have communication
With them,
And with you
So far away in Rome.
So I feel we must do
What we deeply feel
And trust that all things
Work towards
A higher purpose.
