Touch the lives
Of those who I love!
The wretched souls
Lost in sorrow or woe.

Touch the lives
Of all I have known,
Of all who suffer
In a strange world thrown.

Touch our lives,
Leave here no doubt
That victory is ours
Despite the suffering brought.

Touch our lives.
We need you so now.
How can we budge
Without a gentle nudge?

How to forego
How to glow?

A heavenly touch
From some source supreme
To ease our soul's yearnings;
Kindle the fire here still so burning!

How to forego?
How to glow?
In apocalyptic times
Awaiting a touch or a guiding caress
To relieve soul's laborious pain.

Look at me!
What I'm trying to say.
A sign in your road,
A track on the way.

An indication
Of what can be.
You can see it all
If you only see me.

I know the path
That must be taken,
An arduous journey
To regions within.

It can only be taken
Through solemn decision.
Is worthy of vigilance,
Preparation and Will.
