We are at the end of the road,

An imminent dead end,

Looking over a broken bridge

So unlikely to cross over.

And the songs in our hearts

Beat out rhythms of hope

Even in these dreary times

When it's so hard to cope.

So sing out dear 💜 heart

Even when all is lost

Help to lead us on further

Whatever the cost.

From deep in our soul

From what seems so foul.
