What's left of all that was?
After all those original songs.
What innovative laws voted
Have changed so many wrongs?

The idols were all in our thoughts.
We held their ideals in our souls.
Now they drop like flies.
Spirits flewn off like fleeting fowls.

Where are we now?
The ones who still breath,
Youth once projecting advances.
What do we now leave?

Like fodder on the ground
Will this nurture a newfound sound?
Phoenix flying, sprouts breaking the sphere,
While our end is dearly near.

Preparing for that boat ride.

Letting past omissions slide.

What's left of the passionate '60s?
Only a few and You and me.
And a dream to be fulfilled.
The time has come for a new song
Out of embers to come forth so strong!
