(By: Karla Wagener, this poem is authentic, coming from me and after almost 50 years with a man named Pascual and a son named Pascual Angelo so I've had a lot of time to think about all this, and for the next few years I feel a need to prepare more for Pentecost than for Easter! Haha! When I was very young the nuns at Sacred Heart School taught us that "Pascua" is latin for Easter. Most English speakers do not know this. So when I met pascual and he told me his name it really clicked.

So this is once again "Pascua" or Easter time, the time for preparation of a passing to  spiritual rebirth. And Ash Wednesday happens to be on February 14th this year which is Valentine's day and was my dad's birthday so it is especially important for me this year. I just would like you to know I have been preparing for this in some way from as long as I can remember and do what is possible for our  unique and special time on Earth).

(Happy and fruitful Easter, 2024! Hahaha!!! Easter leads to a gateway and that gateway leads to the future and Pentecost!)

A delicate balance
Of worldly practical ability
And mystical spirituality,
Sensitivity and solid firmness.

Equilibrium between old and new

Transcending to 

A new reborn man so true.

There once again is
Present before us
A passage we must trudge.
Let footsteps lightly touch!

There is a new man
Promised, even prophesied.
Let whispered accepting signs
Help him be realized.

"Oh, but how can we wait"?
Alas, busy and preparing,
Doing away with revenge or hate.
Opening to new possible
Ways...

Let's give man a chance
Making the assured advance,
To be real and true.

He may have sinned
But he has loved much
And with much compassion,
Improving daily, with help,
In a fashion.

He needs our care,
Our love to cure,
And good company
On the treacherous way,
For sure!

You'll never solve
The biggest realm's
Great web
Till you make
The basic best steps
In everyday life,
With the greatest goal
That is
To make a better world.

Man can only talk of God
When man shows
Pure mercy.

You must define conversion.
And know what true
Salvation is.

And simply put,
You should know why...
"But by the grace of God,
There goes I".

When all is forgiven
A new life begins.
And the old totally evaporates,

Forgotten those old sins!
