LENT, 2018, A VERY SPECIAL TIME!

LENT, 2018

This is a really special year because Lent begins on February 14, which is Valentine´s Day and was also my father´s birthday.

It especially touches deep in my heart!  I have already begun to do fasting and pray special prayers.  Needless to say, there are indications that the road will be rough.  At the same time, many really good and unexpected positive things can appear on the way!  I encourage all of us to make particular preparation for this year and to try to become more aware of our callings and basically make way for the possibilities and challenges before us!

Following is a poem to help us consider all this!

PERFECT PAST

(Written on January 10, 201)

When you feel your strongest, it is most necessary to keep humble.

It is a good idea to slow down, and feel your weaknesses.

Take in a big breath of fresh air, meditate, contemplate and become aware

Of the magnitude of solitude;
of a marvelous enormous creation!

Where are we going, if not together?

What can we gather; has it value if we cannot share?

Who is the greatest; if not the one most connected to love, service and rebirth?

Remember where you came from.  It´s been a hard road; going by so fast.

It ain´t been easy; who has got a perfect past, 
A constant mood?

Lots of mistakes; Who´s always got it light and easy?

Safety in numbers; the last word is held by the multitude!
