Puppets!

PULLING STRINGS

Feeling the passage of time;

Wondering at its presence.

Lost in expectations;

Sensing the ending, or is it the beginning,

of existence?

Wanting to hold on to this peace;

Hearing so much more in this silence.

Going deep into the soul.

Amazed at truth and reason!

Unexpected flutterings of the heart

Speak from beyond a pleated curtain;

The sparks of neutrons activated;

A still body does not react;

The heart healthily beats;

Sending messages with no replies.

Nothing moves.  Nothing changes.

No reactions..

As the time passes by.
