POEM: "RED" LIGHT

From my 2008 files! ... 

"A poem in English so my dad (aged 88) and aunt Regina (aged 98) can understand, and my brother, Kurt, has a reason to get into contact with them.  This is a poem that implies a spiritual communication and union.  The word "red" is a play on the word "red" which has many connotations and in Spanish means "net" or "web".  As in almost all of my poems, it shows a sense of humor, even in very delicate and difficult situations.  (something I learned as a child, mostly from my father).  It is a poem for the www (whole wide world)"!

It's not only for me that I ask you to stay...

It's not only for me

That I ask you to help us find a way...

It's more than for just me that I say be sincere...

It's to the spiritual world and God we need to be near.

It's not all so difficult to understand.

Is the promised possession a symbol, or some material land?

What then is the future for all of man?

And what's all this fuss about a master plan?

What are the promises which have been made?

...into a cycle of vapors the waters fade...

To reappear again in new forms upon the land laid.

There are bonds and connections no force or power can take away.

And the promises and love of beyond in our interior always stay!
