POEM: "NATIVITY"

NATIVITY (December, 2013)

(From “Simple Words of Great Faith”)

Could you please give us all a hand?

Life is a continual re-birth, with so much so hard to understand.

And help us know your Will,

The roaring of the Ocean, modern disasters, cause a great chill.

Today is today.

One special light guiding the Way!

As time goes by, things will make more sense.

Verbs and actions need to be put in the proper tense.

My Soul elevates to beyond,

As I think about the new, promised Nativity;

Even as I contemplate our fragile humanity.

With its many games, uncertainties, and pranks;

There are signs which indicate the need for preparation,

With so many blessings, so let us raise our many thanks!
