If I could put in words
All I need to say
It would make some sense,
Still you walk away.

Should I beg you to stay?
Remember that day,
When we first met,
All that we did,
The trips,
The outings,
And plans we made.

I remember days
With you smiling,
Happy to be accompanied,
Knowing to be loved as you are...
Now you are the star!

And I pine away from afar.

Remember the day,
When we were so much younger,
The world now apart,
All asunder.

Think of eternity
Is there room there for me.
All was so empty and lonely
Before there was thee.

If I can but in words the feelings,

They would form a single teardrop,

Falling from deep within my soul,

Deep within my soul, deeper yet from my heart.
