Poem: "Ashes to Ashes"

ASHES TO ASHES

(Wednesday, March 5, 2014 – Ash Wednesday!)

My heart aches for a connection.

And feels that we are but a link

In a chain that somehow has a direction,

With meaning to all we think.

The days pass, history is repeated.

When will the evil of our World be defeated?

Tiny steps and actions made,

The corner stone has been set and laid.

We tear our hair, 

Wondering about the reasons

At each changing of the seasons.

Living each time as it comes,
Noble Heart!  The best of us...

So, after all, what’s all the fuss?
