VITALITY

(A poem-song written for my sister, Ann's birthday, May 29, 2017.)

What the World needs urgently

Is a song of hope!

Teaching kindness, buffering hate,

Giving inspiration to create…

The energy locked deep within;

A purpose held to be let out;

A meaning to all that we live;

The conviction to no longer doubt!

Lyrics that overcome weaknesses;

Sounds that beat well with broken hearts;

Powers not realized, now released.

The promises of history to be set free.

The thoughts of wisdom held in a verse,

The joy of care and giving to disperse.  

The sense of experience 

let go to resolve...

As humanity continues to evolve.
