TEARS

Words in a substance,

Wet and moving.

Words easily understood,

And so revealing.

Words that tell a story;

That can break hearts

Or mobilize multitudes.

Words that can be seen and touched;

That fall or run,

And drop

Letting feelings be expressed

Like no other form ever can;

Speaking always deep truths,

And releasing the unspeakable expressions

Of the soul.
