(By: Karla Wagener. Here is your Valentine poem for 2025. I have been saving it to be sent to prepare for Valentine's day. I remind you that my Dad's birthday was on Valentine's Day so it is important to me as a day to celebrate universal love. I hope it will be meaningful for you! 💖

           "Something's got to give"
                Nina Roberts, Geographer

Redemption is the goal,
So distant and unperceived
Saving, curing, needing...

The major purpose
To be fulfilled
Left dangling
Like a firm obstacle
Of a horse's place,
While the audience
Makes bets
On yet another race.

Like the lyrics to a song
Lost
To be re-sung even better.

Like survival after
An Earthquake, war, or
Horrible hurricane.

Like a doubted promise
Preciously fulfilled.

Like a secret judgement day
Discovered, albeit underway.

Like a Valentine sent,
That is sincerely meant.

Like the moon silent above the river
After a brush fire.

The birth of a promised one
Blazing bright to stun...

A silent gentle breeze
On a terribly hot day
Announcing rain
Bringing expectation,

Of a predictive rainbow,
As great hopes still linger,

What only faith can deliver!
