Long-suffering

We will have our day.
Patience will pay.
The load is heavy,
No nest where to stay.
We continue more strong
In wearisome suffering,
Forebearance all along.
There is a promised reward.
There is evidence of benefits.
There is an aching heart
That still draws out a chart.
To true liberation.
Like sunflowers
When the sun does not shine
Look to each other.
We will have our time.
To reach the peak...
We must climb!
