THE PAINTER!

Vincent Van Gogh began his life as an artist at the age of 27. 

Vincent Van Gogh, empezo su vida artistica a la edad de 27 años.
The entire career lasted only ten chaotic years.

  Su carrera completa duro solo diez caoticos años .
His brother, Theo, supported him economically. 

 Su hermano, Teo, lo mantuvo economicamente.
Vincent was a failure economically, but he pursued two of his obsessions with passion:  religion and painting. 

Vincent fracaso economicamente, pero siguio dos de sus obsessiones con pasion:  la religion y la pintura.
Painting was a kind of religion for him.

He once worked for picture dealers in Hague, London and Paris.

He was a school teacher in England, sold books, prepared for theological studies in Amsterdam, was a missionary, and finally declared himself a painter.

Vincent lived and painted in Arles, France for almost 15 months.

There he created 200 paintings, (many of them imperishable masterpieces), and more than 100 superb drawings and watercolors. 

Alli, creo 200 pinturas (muchas de ellas obras maestras imperecederas, y mas de 100 dibujos y acuarelas esplendidos). 
Theo continued to support Vincent in Arles.

In exchange, Vincent sent paintings to Theo which would one day return the investment. 

En intercambio, Vincent le mandaba pinturas que posteriormente le devolveria la inversion.

 

A tormented Vincent shot himself and died on Tuesday, July 29,1890, in his brother, Theo's, arms. 

 Vincent, atormentado, se disparo un balazo, y murio el Martes, 29 de Julio, de 1890, en los brazos de su hermano.
Theo later wrote, "He had found the rest he could not find on Earth..."
