Poem for Valentine's Day! "THE CLUB"

I am sure Michael Buble is tired of jokes about his name, 

but I believe this time it is very origional!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY TO ALL!

You all know my father, Lawrence Wagener's birthday 

was on February 14, 1920!

THE CLUB (February 5, 2014)

(For Michael Buble, my nephew, Devin, and of course, Andrea,

all with Argentine spouses!)

Some say it’s like we are living in a bubble.

Others proclaim the World is turning into

Nothing more than rubble.

Looking into the past

We rediscover the values and ideals that really last!

In the union of our peoples,

Joined in wonder and awe beneath our steeples.

The chemistry of woman and man,

Is the base of all that can

Make a better World.

Produce a new creation all curled

Into so much thanks for joining the Club,

Like me, who has been a tradition, nearly 40 years,

Together with the same Hub!

A man who doesn’t send flowers,

But makes me a huge garden of them,

To enjoy all the hours!

It takes a little more…

Than what can be bought in any store!
