I seem to remember
Much turmoil and mental pain
In the younger years,
A lot of solitude and loneliness,
Feeling out of place;
Not feeling comfortable
Isolation,
Within the human race.
Time passed by and somehow things worked out well,
Curing and comfort, care,
Worked the spell.
All the past is over.
What leads us on from here?
A desire to leave behind a legacy
Of meaning, generosity and purpose,
Something constructive,
And a whole lot of Love!
