Can't get enough
Of tender animal stories.
It's something that
breaks my heart
And each story touches
My soul in a special way.
Don't know what it is
About these helpless
Companions
And the dear links
That always unfold...
Sometimes I avoid
Reading these stories,
Fearing a bit
The great emotion
They will give.
So I hope you understand
I didn't feel this way
Before my sweet,
So innocent pup, Ruby
Came with us to stay!
