How time has passed by...

Listening to Elvis, western, rock;
Seeing movies of Woodstock

The mind feels that
                             Ticking clock.

What ever is to come?
Artists of yonder have gone!

Anything better than
Willie, Dylan, Bruce,
Kenny Rogers, Jennings,
Alan Jackson, Joni,
Kris, Johnny Cash,
Joan, June, or Jimis,
So many that
Made a splash...

So many more
To remember and explore.

What is there to be?
Can we redo
Something so pure
Something so true!

These were lyrics and song
That included & joined us all,
And healed what was wrong.

We all felt part
Of a movement.
Those who are still alive,
Yes, we are still some alive,
Believe in improvement.

Such were the makers
Renowned partakers,
Making an impression
A design of
Positive intent, music
and no aggression.
