He fought for me.
He always wants to go and do
Something special.
He's always there
On special occasions.
Even though maybe he
Lacks being always here.

He cared for me
And I was there for him;
We made a family.
And I especially learned
To make a healthy
Delicious meal each day!

What can I say?
He loves my cat
And my dog,
And takes care
Of my children.

He corrects my pride and faults,
Especially when I think
I don't have any.
He corrects himself,
Though it may take mayor
Convincing!
We battle each other
To be humblest
Knowing that the humblest
In serving is the winner;

Knowing true transformation
Begins with those closest.


Is this ying yang
Balancing each other
In such a violent world?

Or is it what we learned
From each other,
Companions
In these 50 years...

It all returns,
I have always believed
so strongly
In the promised conversion
Of humanity...
(And kept this secret
In my aching heart)...
Even til my partner
Also believes
Thus giving towards
The spiritual renewal
To keep in mind the good,
Be as patient as possible
With all that seemed
So impossible
And put it all

To the blessed
Grace of God!
