Well, I walked the dog,
Gave the kitty and dog to eat.
Did the dishes, fixed food and breakfast,
cleaned to make things neat!
Prayed my morning prayers,
Rode the stationary bike,
Took my pills, went to the bathroom,
Done all that's right.
In spite of dire times of crisis,
Kept up with exercises,
Sang and practiced my guitar,
Wondered at how you all are.
Swept the floor,
Watered the plants,
Put venom out for
Those impossible ants.
Do everything each day,
Intensely, deeply.
Nothing makes us stronger
Than to simply accept meekly...
Did I say I pray? A lot.
Deeply and profoundly
With the faith of my soul.
And trust in the universe
Through constancy,
Moving steadily to the
Final goal.
