I tossed some seeds
In the empty lot next door,
Threw some pumpkin seeds,
And later threw some more.

In autumn we began to see
Some leaves and flowers...
Then grew the delicious food
That would be ours.

So the hope is that
All my efforts and poetry
Can match or even surpass
the surging forth of seeds
Or even a faithful Rosary!
