They used their dreams as a method to know what to do in life.

Many believed dreams were precognitions of future events.

They believed the information came to them through the dream and not by reason.

Psychologists still use dreams to interpret what people feel.

In "Julius Cesar", by Shakespeare a fortuneteller warns Cesar about the future and Cesar calls him a dreamer.

Some people remember their dreams better than others, but almost everyone has dreams.

Hope is a dream.

Dreams are hope.

A RESURRECTED CHRIST

She had already seen his face in her mind before she went to church to pray.

She knelt down before the statue of Our Sacred Heart of Jesus and bowed her head in prayer.

She was worried about the everyday problems of life.

When she looked up she saw that the face of Jesus was glowing.

The light hit the face in just the right angles to make it shine as if Jesus had resurrected.

His eyes looked down and comforted her, "I have overcome the World.

Be cheerful". This was not the Jesus on the cross suffering and in pain.

This was a resurrected Christ offering a promise to be fulfilled.

From that day forward her attitude changed and each day Christ's support for her grew as she also discovered how to scatter it about.

Questions:

 1. What do you do when you feel uneasy about life?

2. Did the woman imagine the face of Jesus before she went to pray?

3. Describe the light.

4. What did the woman think about Jesus?

5. What is the promise of Jesus?

THE LOVE SAUCE

If you want to please a person with good food, sooner or later you will have to learn to make a great tomato sauce.

Fresh tomatoes, boiled for five or ten minutes and peeled, will be needed.
