POPAYAN, COLOMBIA

Existe un pueblo situado en las sierras de Colombia, llamado "Popayán". Este es un lugar especial.

Tiene un área grande similar a un patio, como solían tener las plazas de españolas.  

Las casas son blancas y la iglesia en el centro del pueblo, establece un ambiente de estilo español con arquitectura simple, con arcos y azulejos.

Hay un arroyo que recorre la ciudad y un bonito y viejo puente de estilo Colonial. Las sierras son frondosas y pueden ser escaladas, hasta llegar a una estatua religiosa en la cima. Popayán es un mundo propio.

POPAYAN, COLOMBIA

There is a town nestled away in the hills of Colombia called Popayan.  

It is a special place. 

It has a large area that is a patio-type area like the Spanish style plazas.  

The houses are white and the church in the center of town sets off the whole scene making everything Spanish style with a simple architecture of arches and tiles. 

There is a small river that runs through town and a pretty, old Colonial style bridge. 

The hills are lush and you can climb them to reach a religious statue at the top. 

 Popayan is a world of its own.
