LOS MUEBLES DE LA ABUELA

El armario para la vajilla de estilo inglés de la abuela, era hermoso y siempre se mantenía pulido.                                      

Este, estaba construido con madera de cedro y en su interior, aún estaban guardadas las copas de vino y agua, que habían sido regalados a la abuela cuando se casó. La abuela había dejado los muebles en la casa de Alessandra cuando se mudó a un departamento.

Al morir la abuela, Alessandra comenzó a pensar en ella y en los muebles.

Alessandra no recordaba el abrazo fuerte que la abuela le dio la noche antes de morir (como si la abuela ya supiera lo que iba a suceder).                                                                      

Alessandra era muy pequeña cuando la abuela murió.

Sin embargo, recordaba que la abuela era muy divertida, que jugaba con ella y que la amaba muchísimo.

Alessandra quería mucho a la abuela.

GRANDMA'S FURNITURE 

Grandma's English style china cabinet was beautiful and always looked polished.

It was made out of cedar wood and still contained the expensive French wine and water glasses which had been given to Grandma when she got married.

Grandma left the furniture in Alessandra's house when she went to live in an apartment.

After grandma died Alessandra thought about her grandma and the furniture. 

She did not remember the last big hug that grandma gave to her the night before she died as if grandma knew what would happen. 

She did not remember saying, "I want to go to heaven too" while lying on the floor trying to sleep in sadness. 

She was very tiny when grandma died. 

All she remembered was that grandma had been a lot of fun, played with her and loved her very much. 

Alessandra loved her grandma very much.
