Poem from 2007!!! Flashback for a Happy New Year!

NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION 

(28 December, 2007)

COME ANEW!

Let your Spirit guide you!

 Hear your heart:

Each new day a brand new start.

Take care of each other, the animals and plants.

Think of ecology from the whales, to the tiny ants...

When you feel something wrong in your life...

Beyond thought or reason, God promises to marry us

      to the spiritual, like a groom or wife...

There is a tradition of jubilee, and grace...

Beyond technology, we can communicate transcending over dimensions or space...

When something deep within feels wrong,

Perhaps you need to find out who real friends are, and where you really belong...

 Perhaps you need to sing a song!

 I know because I found much hidden treasure,

Beyond lost hope, (right before me), more than material pleasure,

 Lights flashing, seeds sprouting, a world needing...

Answers and activities in response to all that pleading.

 To reach it just one special rung upward more,

To find and make it passing through an elusive door.

When all seems lost, it's just one step away, to a humble heart, so poor.

Together, joining, humanity comes anew, like a newly printed coin.

 So wherever it is that your aching heart directs, keep following the big dream...

Nothing speaks so loud as silence or mercy;

Darkness is lack of light, (the darkest is before the dawn),

 so continue, hold on to the tiniest beam!
