POEM-SONG: "THE ANSWER"

THE ANSWER (January 21, 2014)

(My friend, Graciela, was telling me about how she and her sisters were listening to the music of Meatloaf yesterday, so it gave me the idea to put some of their music on Youtube today!)

(While listening to songs by Meatloaf)

The altars shinning,

Choir of Angels singing,

Heaven at the door,

The World at its end, can’t take it anymore.

Hold On!  Hold On!

The worst is where the future has begun.

Look up!  Look up!

Take to your road!  Drink of your cup!

The dream is over now.

The signs of truth tell us how;

Yet we run, converse, and do,

Somehow, we just can’t find the way through

To simply listen, to listen to you!
