Poem...A NEW PENTECOST

Pentecost is a celebration 50 days after Easter.  The Virgin Mary and the disciples of Jesus prepared for the celebration and waited in a room, praying and waiting for the help and direction of the Spirit.  They were afraid and were not sure how to continue.  The Holy Spirit helps us know how to proceed.

A NEW PENTECOST

REPEATING VERSE

...LIKE A DOVE,
CALLING TO HER,
WAITING FOR HER WITH FOOD, SONG AND LOVE!...

"I have seen something descend from above.
I have felt strong tides like wind.

...tongues of fire, strength from within".

They did not believe in the announced.
Did not hear the echoes so well pronounced...
now the great surprise arrives,
the hoped for to be seen, with faith be alive!

It does not arrive inadvertently.
We invoke it, with preparation,
a bit comes from our part...
it is greater than our understanding,
yet needs the opening of our heart.

…and it enters like fire.
It is a great light,
(gentle like oil),
A little house of god's might


Heat and wind,
union beyond languages, different beliefs or time…
(These are almost imperceptible vibrations).
We must open our hearts to the chime!
